In the third quarter of 2024, several social apps demonstrated notable performance on the Android platform in Belarus, based on data from Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at the top five apps: TikTok, Instagram, Likee - Short Video Community, Threads, and TikTok Lite - Save Data.

TikTok from TikTok Pte. Ltd. saw a steady increase in weekly revenue, which peaked at around $38K in the final week of September. The app's weekly downloads experienced a downward trend, closing the quarter at approximately 9.6K. However, its weekly active users remained robust, averaging around 1.3 million throughout the quarter.

Instagram maintained a relatively stable presence in Belarus with minor fluctuations. Its weekly revenue peaked at $424 in mid-August, while downloads reached their highest at about 12.7K during the same period. The app's active user base remained strong, with numbers slightly decreasing from around 1.5 million to 1.4 million by the end of September.

The Likee - Short Video Community app, developed by Likeme Pte. Ltd., showcased a varied performance. Weekly revenue showed a minor increase, concluding at $198 in the last week of the quarter. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at 9.9K in mid-August, while active users reached a high of approximately 87K in early August but later decreased to around 77K by the end of September.

Threads, also by Instagram, had no recorded revenue during the quarter but displayed a modest increase in downloads, peaking at 9.5K in early September. The app maintained a stable active user base, averaging around 80K throughout the quarter.

Lastly, TikTok Lite - Save Data recorded a slight increase in revenue, ending at $76 in the final week. Downloads varied, reaching a high of about 8.4K in the last week of the quarter. Active users showed a decreasing trend, from approximately 144K in early July to about 124K by the end of September.
